Our Team

Our team is a group of dedicated, fun-loving people who enjoy helping others and have chosen dentistry and our practice as a way to do that. We hold each other accountable to the highest standards of knowledge and applied skills in dentistry. We combine a deep concern for each person with our expertise, caring, good humor and laughter.

Meet Our Dental Hygienists

Our team of dental hygienists is committed to providing the highest standard of dental hygiene care for you. Their care involves not only superb clinical skills, but also the behavioral and communication skills to assist you in attaining the highest level of dental health you choose. Ongoing continuing education in consumer dental products, nutrition, and total wellness prepares Sharon and Morgan to be knowledgeable resources to help you with your oral health as it relates to your total health.

Sharon is a graduate of the University of Hawaii and brings over 40 years of experience in dentistry to our team. She has worked in a variety of practice settings that include serving as a consultant for Head Start and working in hospital dentistry.

As an active member of her professional association she has served at the local, state and district levels. Sharon was named Dental Hygienist of the Year by the Iowa Dental Hygienists Association in 1994, and more recently was given the prestigious Distinguished Service award by that same group.

Besides overseeing and working clinically in the dental hygiene portion of the Kuttler practice, Sharon also focuses her time and talent on providing information and programs that integrate wellness with oral health, and serves as a resource in facilitating dental health awareness for people of all ages. In 2015 Sharon was chosen to be a part of a pilot project for a consortium through the Iowa State Department of Health to teach direct care-givers how to provide oral care for those unable to do so for themselves.

Sharon has also collaborated in producing an audio CD, “Relieve Stress for Dental Health” for patient use. Besides volunteering for dental health endeavors, Sharon also enjoys reading, gardening, cooking and biking.

“I feel richly blessed to count many of the people who come to us as my dear friends. I am grateful to witness, and in some way facilitate, the changes people make in their journey toward health. I am delighted that I can play a part in that journey by providing my care, knowledge, experience, and clinical skills."

Jeremy is originally from Coralville, Iowa. In May 2017, he graduated from Kirkwood Community College with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene.  While in school he completed his clinical experience at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. As part of his educational experience Jeremy participated in outreach clinics at the Iowa City Free Clinic, His Hands Free Medical Clinic in Cedar Rapids, Cedar Rapids Free Clinic, and Oakdale Classification Center.

Jeremy has many interests, most of them involving being outdoors (especially during the summer). He enjoys running, biking, hiking, camping, boating and playing sports.  He also enjoys cooking, spending time with friends and family, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, and traveling.

From the time Jeremy was young, he has always known that he wanted to be in a career in which he could help people.  It wasn’t until he took a couple of pre-dental hygiene courses that he really knew this was his passion!

“I thoroughly enjoy working with people and seeing them make positive changes in their lives – not only for better oral health, but also to improve their overall total health.  I accepted this position with the Kuttler Dental Team because we all share the same passion when it comes to making sure everyone is being taken care of according to their own individual needs.  The most rewarding thing as a dental hygienist is seeing our clients put my personalized recommendations to use and putting their trust in me – knowing that I am making their welfare my first priority.”

Meet Our Dental Assistant

From a warm smile to a hand to hold, our dental assistants take great pride in providing professional and caring assistance for you.

Keshia lives in Hopkinton, Iowa with her husband, Nick, and their daughter, Keighan.  Keshia graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Northeast Iowa Community College in May 2016.

In her free time Keshia enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors as much as possible.  Keshia’s hobbies include horseback riding, hunting, fishing, boating, and camping.

“I consider myself to be a life-long student since dentistry is always evolving.  I enjoy learning new things and incorporating them in to what we do each day. Since I was a little girl, I have always enjoyed the reward that comes with helping people. I love meeting new clients, learning about their lives, as well as sharing about my life with them.  My main goal is to help people feel at ease and comfortable during dental treatment.  I want our clients to walk out the door NOT feeling like a ‘patient’, but like our family, because that’s what we are here.
